Ashgrove Renovation
This 1930’s Queenslander home was in need of an update and required layout changes to meet the changing needs of our clients. Frampton Builders was engaged to create a new floor plan, and expand the master bedroom to create a walk-in-wardrobe and updated en suite bathroom.
The original layout felt very enclosed due to two main walls that separated the kitchen and lounge areas. These walls were removed to create an open plan living area with a cavity slider between the living and new dining areas opening up the home for entertaining.
We expanded the bathroom and converted it into a spacious en suite for the master bedroom. We then transformed one of the bedrooms into a new bathroom and toilet while turning the original toilet into a Butler’s pantry for the new kitchen. The main entryway, which wasted significant space, was converted into a walk-in-wardrobe for the master bedroom. These changes, in combination with a new linen cupboard and built-in wardrobes for bedrooms, provided our clients with greater storage and a far more practical layout for their lifestyle.
Frampton Builders did an outstanding job on our very extensive and complicated renovation project. Rodney was a delight to work with and helped make what would have been a complicated process easy. Rodney helped us through the crucial design stage: getting plans for the renovation, making sure it met our budget and creating something we loved. We absolutely love the new renovation and layout. We wished we had trusted a builder like Rodney sooner! – Peter & Therese Taylor
